We have so far run seven rounds of HEXA ambassador recruitment, rounds 1 to 7. The ambassador program is a Web3-style initiative that complies with Japanese law and uses ad-space NFTs that cannot be withdrawn (HEXA LAND NFTs). By holding a HEXA LAND NFT, you own part of the ad space on the HEXA platform, and its value may rise in the future if NFTs become more mainstream and HEXA remains a platform that people continue to use.
We are now providing a summary explaining the ambassador program, which until now has not had a proper overview page, and announcing changes to the campaign from the 8th round of recruitment onward.
Thank you to our ambassadors
First, we would like to express our gratitude to all our ambassadors. When gifting LAND to ambassadors, HEXA has made clear that there are no obligations whatsoever, and we have not given them any special permissions or information. Even so, our ambassadors have voluntarily helped HEXA thrive and promoted it, which has energized the marketplace.

Creating an environment where ambassadors and users can enjoy HEXA even more
Both HEXA LAND NFTs as ad-space NFTs and the ambassador program built on ad-space NFTs are probably the first initiatives of their kind in Japan. NFTs themselves are new worldwide, and this program is an even newer initiative within that space, so it is not a perfect program.
HEXA will keep making improvements so that, over the long term, the HEXA NFT Marketplace becomes a marketplace that many people can enjoy using in a healthy way.
About the ambassador program
The HEXA ambassador program was created with the idea of adopting the good aspects of Web3 thinking in a way that suits Japan, in line with Japanese laws and regulations. Unlike typical Web2-style ambassador programs, it is an entirely new initiative. Because it is new, it is not perfect, but the HEXA ambassador program follows the rules below.
Building a relationship through ad-space NFTs in which we can celebrate together when HEXA thrives
One idea in Web3 is "owning" part of a service. "Ownership" can include governance, but on HEXA it does not, for reasons of Japanese law. The program was created on the idea that people could become stakeholders by holding ad-space NFTs (HEXA LAND NFTs) that cannot be withdrawn, representing "ad space," whose value is expected to correlate relatively easily with the growth of HEXA's services (this correlation is not guaranteed). (Distributing revenue, money or crypto would make the NFTs securities, which by law could not be widely advertised and sold to the general public unless listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange or similar, so there will be no distribution of revenue, money or crypto in the future either.)
Ambassadors have no obligations or term of office
HEXA imposes no obligations whatsoever on ambassadors' activities. You are free to keep holding your HEXA LAND NFT or to let it go, and after being selected as an ambassador you have no obligation to continue promotional activities. If ambassadors' freely chosen activities benefit HEXA even a little, this may lead to an increase in the value of HEXA LAND NFTs. Our hope is that activities born out of enjoyment, fun or other feelings, rather than obligation, will make even a small positive difference.
It would pain us greatly if being named an ambassador caused you strong pressure or a burden on your time or mind, and getting involved with HEXA ended up putting you in an undesirable situation. We therefore want to reiterate that ambassadors have no obligations.
Also, because the intended incentive is the increase in the NFT's value rather than receiving the NFT itself, there is no term of office.
Ambassadors are free to post what they like; HEXA imposes no restrictions and does no prior review
HEXA does not review in advance any posts on X (formerly Twitter) or other content about HEXA by ambassadors. We sometimes receive inquiries from people who mistake ambassadors' posts for official HEXA communications, but they are not. HEXA will not restrict ambassadors' posts in the future either, nor does HEXA have the authority to do so.
HEXA does not give ambassadors or agents special permissions or make special individual requests of them
HEXA does not give ambassadors or agents any special permissions, nor does it make requests of them or consult them. For governance reasons, we do not do this at all. Please be careful: if someone calling themselves an ambassador or agent says HEXA asked them to request something special from you, or that they are doing their current activities after being consulted by HEXA, this is not true.
Apart from receiving LAND NFTs in our publicly announced recruitment campaigns, ambassadors and agents receive no special treatment from HEXA and carry out their activities voluntarily. Accordingly, we have never told anyone how they should behave as an ambassador or agent.
Ambassadors are not responsible for HEXA's services
Few people in Japan even know the word NFT yet, and far fewer have ever held an NFT or know about HEXA. For this reason, HEXA makes compliance with Japanese law its top priority while operating with future regulatory tightening in mind, and runs a variety of initiatives in parallel by trial and error. Many of our initiatives will likely draw mixed opinions from users, including ambassadors, but every initiative is decided on and carried out by HEXA. Therefore, please send any feedback about HEXA's services not to ambassadors but through HEXA's contact form (Japanese).

Ambassadors are not a HEXA contact point. HEXA does not provide ambassadors with any special support or information. Since this has in some cases become a burden on ambassadors, please send questions about HEXA to HEXA via our contact page (Japanese) (using the contact form, not DMs).
About the ambassador campaign from round 8 onward
As the value of the NFTs given out in the ambassador recruitment campaigns rose, the importance of "HEXA selecting ambassadors" grew excessively (from the standpoint of operating HEXA's services, we do not intend to reduce this importance to zero), outweighing the original purpose of "holding LAND as one incentive to support HEXA." We felt this made the program more Web2-like. We have therefore decided to stop giving Metropolis and Town LAND NFTs from the 8th campaign onward. HEXA wants to bring out as much of a Web3 feel* as possible within Japanese law.
*For reasons such as stable long-term operation of the service and legality under Japanese law, HEXA does not aim to be fully Web3; our intention is to run the service by adopting the good ideas of Web3. At present, we are not aiming to be fully Web3.
Reducing the program's growing dependence on HEXA's selection
The ambassador program is part of the HEXA LAND NFT initiative, which uses ad-space NFTs to realize Web3 in a way that suits Japan. It was created in the hope that the incentive would be the subsequent increase in value, not receiving a HEXA LAND NFT itself. The program is intended to give people who buy HEXA LAND NFTs, or receive them as ambassadors, some benefit from activities that raise their value. Compared with the early days of the program, the value of HEXA LAND NFTs has risen, which has made receiving them an incentive in itself. We saw this as an issue, which led to this change.
About reports of trouble between users
Although it is difficult for HEXA to establish the facts, we have received several reports of conduct that may violate the prohibited acts set out in Article 13 of the HEXA Terms of Use (Japanese). As stated in our Terms of Use, HEXA cannot take any responsibility for trouble outside the service (including exchanges on X), and receiving a report does not mean we can verify all the facts in it. HEXA wants ambassadors and users to enjoy using HEXA. On the other hand, it is not at all what we want if the ambassador campaign benefits that HEXA provides are causing trouble. Since HEXA cannot accurately establish the facts, we are once again quoting part of Article 13 of the HEXA Terms of Use as a reminder. To enforce the HEXA Terms of Use (which is required not only by us but also by credit card payment companies, affiliated companies and relevant regulators), if we become aware of public posts on X related to HEXA (including ambassadors and users) that may violate the prohibited acts below, the person concerned will not be eligible for ambassador selection.

Changes to ambassador recruitment campaign benefits
We are making the following changes to the ambassador recruitment campaign from the 8th round onward. We will continue to improve the content going forward.
(1) Ambassador benefits are limited to two types
1. HEXA LAND NFT Sand (because of the aim, described above, of moving closer to Web3, Town and Metropolis will no longer be included as benefits)
2. Purchase tickets (the intention is for people to become HEXA stakeholders not only through LAND NFTs but also by buying creators' HEXA NFTs)
(2) HEXA LAND NFT Sand can be received only once per account
As explained above, this measure is meant to make the incentive what comes after receiving the NFT, not receiving it itself. We would like to limit it to once per person, but it is difficult, and not realistic, to identify when one person has multiple accounts, so for fairness we are limiting it to once per account.

Thank you to our ambassadors and users for the many valuable inquiries and suggestions for improvement you send us every day. We cannot act on every suggestion and opinion right away, but we will keep making improvements step by step, and we appreciate your continued support.
