MetaMask lets you manage and display NFTs based on the ERC721 standard. It cannot display each NFT's individual metadata, but you can check how many NFTs of the same type (contract) you hold, and perform operations such as sending them.
This article walks you through managing HEXA NFTs in MetaMask. The official MetaMask website is here.
Displaying NFT tokens in MetaMask (computer)
(1) Look up the NFT's contract address
If there is an NFT you want to display in MetaMask, first go from the HEXA NFT page to the contract page and copy the contract address. The contract for HEXA NFT (Ethereum) is below.

The contract for HEXA NFT MATIC (Polygon chain / MATIC chain) is below. See here for how to connect MetaMask to the Polygon chain.

(2) Add the token for that contract to MetaMask
Next, launch MetaMask and switch the network to "Ethereum Mainnet" for HEXA NFT (Ethereum) or "Matic Mainnet" for HEXA NFT MATIC (Polygon/MATIC), or check that it is already selected. (If you don't have Matic Mainnet, see here for how to set it up.) Then click Add Token and select Custom Token. A screen for entering the token contract address will appear.

Since you copied the contract address to your clipboard earlier, paste it into the contract address field. Information such as the token symbol will load automatically; click Next. The amount of the NFT you hold (here, HEXA NFT, whose symbol is HEXA on Ethereum and HEXANFT on MATIC) is then checked on the blockchain, and clicking Add Token makes it appear in your wallet.

Displaying NFT tokens in MetaMask (app)

A screen for entering the token contract address will appear; paste the contract address you copied earlier.

On a computer, the token symbol and token decimals were filled in automatically when you pasted the contract address, but in the smartphone app you need to enter them yourself. Enter HEXA (Ethereum) or HEXANFT (MATIC) as the token symbol and 0 as the decimals, then tap Add Token. The amount of the NFT you hold (here, HEXA NFT, whose symbol is HEXA on Ethereum and HEXANFT on MATIC) is then checked on the blockchain and appears in your wallet.

Displaying NFTs in the MetaMask app (Collectibles feature)
The computer version has no feature for displaying NFT details, but the smartphone app has a Collectibles feature that lets you view NFT details. These are screenshots from the iPhone app.
Displaying NFTs with the Collectibles feature
Launch MetaMask and switch the network to "Ethereum Mainnet" for HEXA NFT (Ethereum) or "Matic Mainnet" for HEXA NFT MATIC (Polygon/MATIC), or check that it is already selected. (If you don't have Matic Mainnet, see here for how to set it up.) Then select the Collectibles tab and enter the contract address you copied in step (1), "Look up the NFT's contract address", in the previous section on displaying NFT tokens. Next, enter the token ID of the NFT you hold (the HEXA NFT ID for HEXA NFTs) and tap Add. The NFT you hold will then be displayed.
