HEXA brings this mechanism to life through tokenomics based on HEXA LAND NFT ad-space NFTs (non-fungible tokens), which we call Hexanomics. By holding a HEXA LAND NFT, you can place ads on the HEXA platform. Ad-space NFT holders not only have space to advertise on HEXA but can also benefit from the growth of the HEXA service. The NFTs also serve as plots in the HEXA Metaverse, functioning as land on which you can freely place buildings in the metaverse. In this way, we aim for a world where the whole community grows the HEXA service together and everyone in the community shares in the rewards.
What is HEXA LAND?
HEXA LAND is a LAND NFT issued on the Polygon (MATIC) chain by HEXA, a marketplace for issuing and selling NFTs. For legal reasons, HEXA LAND NFTs cannot be withdrawn and can only be bought and sold within HEXA. Holding a LAND NFT lets you place ads on the HEXA platform and also gives you rights to a plot in the HEXA Metaverse, which is scheduled for release by March 2023 (planned). HEXA LAND NFTs represent 100% in total, divided into GOD, Genesis, Metropolis, Town and Sand LAND NFTs.
The share of ads shown on the HEXA platform depends on your ownership ratio of HEXA LAND NFTs. As sponsor slots on the HEXA platform, NFT holders can gain exposure in the platform's prime locations (as of 2022/9/14, the top and bottom of pages). The ad-space feature was launched on September 14, 2022. HEXA LAND NFTs also function as land plots in the metaverse.
HEXA LAND is planned to be sold in multiple rounds. The sale price differs for each round, so we recommend considering a purchase early. Secondary-market sales have taken place at prices such as ¥6 million for HEXA Genesis LAND #6 , ¥1.4 million for HEXA Metropolis LAND #41 , ¥340,000 for HEXA Town LAND #83 and ¥100,000 for HEXA Sand LAND #2085 .

HEXA LAND NFT details
Ad space on the HEXA platform is allocated according to your share of HEXA LAND NFTs. HEXA LAND NFT holders can set the content (image) they want to advertise and a link, and place ads in prime locations. HEXA LAND NFT holders can also place any NFT they like on their LAND in HEXA LAND. In addition, more perks for HEXA LAND NFT holders may be added in the future. Perks may differ by type and by location.
HEXA LAND NFTs can also be resold within HEXA at any time. HEXA LAND NFT holders can also let third parties use the ad space itself, whether free of charge or for a fee.
HEXA LAND NFTs can be resold within HEXA
You can check the holders of HEXA LAND NFTs on the HEXA LAND page at any time, and they can be resold in yen. On resale, 17% (7% transaction fee and 10% royalty) is deducted. HEXA LAND NFTs cannot be withdrawn, however (resale within HEXA is possible).
How ad-space NFTs work
HEXA LAND ad-space NFTs are a world-first attempt at a mechanism that puts the Web3 idea into practice: the more awareness of HEXA as an NFT marketplace grows and the more users and traffic it gets, the more valuable the NFTs become, so the people who have held them and supported HEXA from the start can share in the benefits.
The alpha version of the ad-space feature for HEXA LAND ad-space NFTs was released on September 14, 2022. In the alpha version, you can freely set a banner image and URL to run ads. In the future, we plan to let holders simply choose an option such as Google AdSense, with HEXA placing advertisers' ads in their slot on their behalf so they can receive ad revenue.

How to set up HEXA LAND ads
HEXA LAND ads appear at the top and bottom of almost every page on nft.hexanft.com. You can set them up from My Page → LAND ad space. If no ad is set, the holder's name and a link to their LAND page are shown.
Custom link ads
Just upload banners for PC and smartphone, set any link you like and submit. The review takes about 3 business days, after which your ad starts running. AdSense, affiliate and direct-ad features are planned for the future.
About the HEXA LAND metaverse features
HEXA Metaverse is the short name for HEXA Metaverse Gateway, a project run by the NFT marketplace HEXA. Unlike other metaverses, HEXA Metaverse has the following key features.
The NFT marketplace HEXA removed the hurdles of crypto and wallets by letting anyone sell and buy NFTs by credit card, without crypto or a wallet. In the same way, HEXA Metaverse aims to be a metaverse anyone can casually enjoy at any time, removing the hurdles of needing a PC or installing an app, gathering at a set time, or communicating by voice. Linked with the NFT marketplace, it also aims to create an economy that is completed entirely in the digital world.
By holding a HEXA LAND NFT, you can own your own plot (land) in the HEXA Metaverse space. On your land you can place NFTs you hold, as well as every NFT you have issued that has been sold. You could even create a creator land displaying all your works, including past ones. Sold NFTs you issued also show the owner's name, which can help raise the value of sold NFTs. NFTs you place can also include external links, entrances to Residents NFT rooms and more.
