Tag feature: first release
Issuers can now set up to 5 tags per NFT from My Page → Issued NFTs. Tags can be set even after issuance, and NFTs will appear in search results for the tag words. After the first release, we plan to implement features such as tag search and features that make NFTs easier to discover based on their tags. Please do set tags to raise awareness of your NFTs and increase their value!
Easier to find in search engines such as Google and Yahoo
Each NFT will link to a search results page, making the NFT page more likely to be picked up by search engines. With this release, search results pages also have their own URLs, so they can be shared and can appear in search engines. Using the tag feature makes it easier for more people to find your NFTs. Note that it takes a certain number of days after setting tags to be recognized by search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
Effective as NFTs become more mainstream and more users search for “NFT” combined with other words
As NFTs become more mainstream, many users are expected to search on Google or Yahoo for words combined with “NFT,” such as “NFT dog.” Pages that have had tags set and been recognized from early on will then be rated more highly and are more likely to rank higher. This gives you a chance to make your NFTs known to many more new people.
How to set tags (issuers only)
You can set tags from the X (formerly Twitter) icon at the top right → My Page → Issued NFTs. You can set up to 5 tags. Currently tags are only included in the words that match searches, but tag search and awareness-raising features based on tags are planned from the second release onward, so we recommend adding tags closely related to your NFT.

Tags you add are shown on the NFT page
Once tagged, tag links are displayed at the bottom of the NFT page as shown below. Cross-linking with search result pages in this way strengthens the link structure of the NFT page, making it more likely to appear in and be rated highly by search engines such as Google and Yahoo. It will also make your NFTs easier to discover when HEXA's tag features are enhanced in the future.

How to choose tags
We recommend using words that people are likely to search for: words that someone looking for art or NFTs is likely to type when they want to find or search for NFTs in a particular genre. Going forward, we will make improvements, such as recommended tags, based on how everyone uses the feature.
Tag feature: second release
We plan to keep improving the tag feature. We are planning features that make it easier for more users to see your NFTs when you set tags, so we recommend setting tags.
