Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. is a consolidated subsidiary of Tobu Railway Co., Ltd. (securities code: 9001) with offices in every prefecture. Under the theme "Energize Japan!", it runs businesses that go beyond travel, linking the vitality of regions to the vitality of Japan.
Through this comprehensive business alliance, we will combine HEXA's NFT and Web3 expertise and NFT marketplace with Tobu Top Tours' extensive network and regional revitalization knowledge and expertise to accelerate efforts to revitalize local communities.

Ahead of this comprehensive business alliance, in May 2023 HEXA and Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. sold the "Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture Digital Resident NFT," Japan's first* digital resident NFT issued by a municipality. It drew purchase applications for 13,440 NFTs, 13.4 times the number on sale, making a major contribution to creating a related population for Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture.

*An internet survey conducted by Media Equity Inc. on April 26, 2023, covering NFTs issued by all of Japan's prefectures and municipalities, confirmed that this is the first case in Japan of a digital resident NFT officially issued by an existing Japanese municipality. There have been past cases issued by voluntary groups of residents rather than officially by a municipality, but this is Japan's first digital resident NFT officially issued by a Japanese municipality as the issuer under the Local Government Finance Act.
Issuing Tobu Top Tours Internship Certificate of Completion NFTs
In addition, as an initiative in the NFT and Web3 field, we will begin issuing corporate internship certificate of completion NFTs. To promote the development of digital talent who will support the future, Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. plans to hold an internship in August 2023 where participants learn development technologies such as ChatGPT and the metaverse.
