In a regional revitalization model project run by the Public-Private Partnership Promotion Organization (a general incorporated association) using the Cabinet Office's "Regional Future Grant," the regional NFTs of the five participating municipalities (Yachiyo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture; Noda City, Chiba Prefecture; Katsuragi City, Nara Prefecture; Hakui City, Ishikawa Prefecture; and Takahama Town, Fukui Prefecture), the "New Product Development Project Pass," will be given away free of charge on the HEXA NFT Marketplace. Distribution for the four municipalities of Yachiyo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture; Katsuragi City, Nara Prefecture; Hakui City, Ishikawa Prefecture; and Takahama Town, Fukui Prefecture, begins on July 2 (Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, will be announced separately once ready).
In this project, the NFT serves as a "participation pass" for taking part in community building. Through this free giveaway on HEXA, local residents unfamiliar with crypto-assets (crypto) and fans across Japan can receive the "Project Pass" without costs or complicated procedures and take part in developing collaboration products made by local businesses and idols.

About this model project
This project is carried out by GMTS Co., Ltd. using the Cabinet Office's "Regional Future Grant," through a wide-area partnership of five municipalities with Yachiyo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, as the lead municipality. Idols and influencers develop collaboration products with local businesses to promote the regions' attractions. Natsumi Hirajima, Mai Shinuchi and Moe Tanijiri serve as "Regional Revitalization Ambassadors," SHOW-WA/MATSURI as "Public-Private Partnership Ambassadors," and Natsupipi, aiei and Hibari Kitayama as "Child-Rearing Support Ambassadors."
