Through a comprehensive partnership agreement with Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, and a comprehensive business alliance with Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd., HEXA, one of Japan's largest NFT marketplaces, has released a variety of memberships and tickets as NFTs to realize Regional Revitalization 2.0, such as a ticket NFT that lets you invite the mayor of Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, to give a talk, and an NFT with a membership offering free entry to Akiyoshido Cave in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. In this way, based on the idea that "regions are the main drivers of growth," we have supported the circulation of NFTs as a catalyst for the Japanese economy, so that each region can develop in line with its own characteristics.

This allows any individual or company to contribute to regional revitalization through NFTs, re-pricing the diverse analog value of regions, such as Japanese food and tourism experiences, at global prices and maximizing it.
Specifically, it can be used for purposes such as those below. Issuers are responsible for designing their products in compliance with the Payment Services Act, the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations and other relevant laws.

Turning memberships and tickets into NFTs allows them to be traded safely in digital form. Taking advantage of the NFT's ability to prove uniqueness, memberships and tickets can be traded on the secondary market without counterfeits circulating. As a result, even individuals and small shops can easily use HEXA to sell and distribute attractive Japanese services as NFTs, without the cost of preparing physical memberships with anti-copying and anti-counterfeiting measures or building a fraud-proof digital ticketing system.
With HEXA, there's no need to prepare anything complicated such as crypto or a crypto wallet; you can pay and trade easily using only Japanese yen, so anyone can trade safely and securely. As of September 28, 2024, more than 160,000 NFTs have been issued on HEXA, and many NFTs are in circulation. *An internet survey conducted by Media Equity Inc. on April 26, 2023, covering NFTs issued by all of Japan's prefectures and municipalities, confirmed that Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, is the first case in Japan of a digital resident NFT officially issued by an existing Japanese municipality. There have been past cases issued by voluntary groups of residents rather than officially by a municipality, but this is Japan's first digital resident NFT officially issued by a Japanese municipality as the issuer under the Local Government Finance Act.
